In 2014 a group of people came together with a passion for children, and care for our future. It Takes a Village to Change The World formed as a 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to enrich the lives of children one child at a time. Partnering initially with Wildwood Elementary School, (Sumter County Florida) ITAV creates and initiates fundraising opportunities in order to supplement service projects that benefit children locally. Projects include paying for busses for children to visit LegoLand, St. Augustine and the Kennedy Space Center; supporting math and reading incentives; and helping teachers get needed supplies for their classrooms. We also hold Donuts for Dads and Muffins for Moms among many other enrichment events.
