In 2014 a group of people came together with a passion for children, and care for our future. It Takes a Village to Change the World formed as a result. Partnering with Childfund International and Wildwood Elementary School, (Sumter County Florida) ITAV creates and initiates fundraising opportunities in order to supplement service projects that benefit children locally and internationally. Be involved-contact us to see how you can make an impact. ITAV has an active board.
Immediate volunteer opportunities are available by registering with Sumter County Schools. ITAV created and supports an on- going after school program called, Creativity Connects. Throughout the year, ITAV also hosts Donuts with Dad, Moms and Muffins, Teacher Appreciation events, Literacy events, and much more.
Many of our members sponsor children through Childfund and volunteer at fashion shows benefitting the cause, as well as Bunco fundraisers, quarter auctions, and golf tournaments. ITAV works to connect with other organizations and clubs to generate resources.
